How to report Hate crime

Our next online event is on How to report hate crime or incident effectively and what the Next Steps are.  The guest speaker is Tony Smikle, a graduate of the US NBPA International Leadership Institute, the former Vice President of the National Black Police Association who is an independent diversity consultant and develops bespoke training packages.  Tony is the chair elect of the Police Diversity Trainers Network, was the UK ambassador for European Diversity in policing and has organised a youth conference titled “Bridging the Gap” a conference which brought together disaffected youth of Nottinghamshire to discuss topical issues.  Tony has also written bespoke leadership and training packages on equality matters and a number of unique policies which impact on community confidence within public sector organisations.

Tony facilitates and lectures nationally and internationally on Social Inclusion and Diversity and has compeered the NBPA annual conferences 2013 – 2017 and has designed and delivered a Hate Crime training course for BCP Citizens Advice in 2019/20.

Tony specialises in Major crime investigation, Training & advanced facilitation, Equality & Diversity, Equality Impact Assessment, First contact schemes, Conflict resolution, Management, Leadership, Audit and review as well as Motivational speaking.
